International Interdisciplinary Seminars on Practical Philosophy for Phd & Master Students (blended)
The annual International Interdisciplinary Seminar for Doctoral & Master Students established by the Laboratory of Research in Practical Philosophy (L.R.P.Ph.) aims to be a step of communication for young researchers to communicate in the context and extension of their research interests in relation to the subject of Practical Philosophy. More than a kind of presenting and imprinting their research, it is about a caring consideration for the participants to develop a sense of sharing research concern, to realize the diversity of research interests and the possibility of connections and combinations between them, to converse, to imagine collaborations, to clarify paths, to multiply thoughts and be fascinated by possible detours and deviations in the paths, to be reassured that each research plan is defined more by obstacles and invisible complications, to play with these obstacles discovering thinking as an adventure, to reconsider their relationship with their research object, to admire other research objects by perceiving different horizons, to determine and process their research attitude and position and to take responsibility for it. Insisting on the intercultural openness and its experience as a possibility of multiple understandings of reality, as well as on the explorative approach of things as a movement of philosophy and art altogether, the Laboratory of Research in Practical Philosophy (L.R.P.Ph.) has already launched an endeavor that aspires, beyond and behind its academicism, to highlight the possibility of a robust thinking, when it seeks to be impulsive and novel and when it is not afraid to retreat, reconstructed or even be silent at some point to regain voice and substance. The horizon of Practical Philosophy gives coherence to the whole effort, as the different proposals, from various disciplines, are invited to highlight, on the one hand, elements οf their possible connection with Practical Philosophy, and on the other hand, an internal philosophical dynamic that can possibly lead them to approach it. Conversely, practical philosophy can recognize, within these research proposals, various paths for its emergence and development, constantly reorganizing its self-perception and its interdisciplinary tension.
