Alexandros Theodoridis is Associate Professor in Philosophical Anthropology & Education at the Democritus University of Thrace. His research and publications revolve around the following areas: Philosophical Anthropology, Philosophy and Psychoanalysis, Philosophy of Education, Political Philosophy, Political-moral-aesthetic education, Philosophy of the environment, Environmental ethics, Professional ethics and Intercultural ethics. He participates in research projects and he is a member of societies in Philosophy and Psychoanalysis. In addition, he is an associated researcher in the Laboratory of Research on Practical Philosophy (L.R.P.Ph., Greece, University of the Aegean). He is the Director of the Postgraduate Program «Education for the Environment and Sustainability».
