Alessandra Mazzini is currently assistant professor (RtdA) in History of pedagogy and Children’s literature (M-PED/02) at the Department of Human and Social Sciences of the University of Bergamo. From 2018 to 2020 Alessandra Mazzini was beneficiary, at the Department of Human and Social Sciences of the University of Bergamo, of a research grant dedicated to Education and pedagogy in Pier Paolo Pasolini, in the context of the research international program «Stars Supporting Talented Researcher». In October 2019 she was a visiting fellow at the University of Paris 8 Vincennes Saint Denis – Paris (Supervisor: prof. Didier Moreau). In 2016 she received her Ph.D. in Human Capital Formation and Labour Relations at the University of Bergamo. From November 2016 to October 2018 she was the holder of the research fellowship entitled From the initial educational guidance to job placement in University courses. An action-research model for a Department of Human and Social Sciences. Since 2016 she has been collaborating with the same Department as a traineeship tutor and in conducting laboratory activities. Since September 2012 she has been a member of the Editorial board of various scientific journals and since 2015 she has been the editorial coordinator of the journal «Nuova Secondaria Ricerca». In 2011 she graduated in Modern Philology.
