Main coordinator professor, director and president of the Technical-Scientific Council at ISCET – Higher Institute of Business Sciences and Tourism, where he also teaches in the Masters in Tourism and Tourism Product Development. Full-professor of the Faculty of Arts of the University of Porto where is also an integrated researcher of the RG – Philosophy and Public Space of the Philosophy Institute. PhD in Philosophy by the University of Porto and in Tourism by the University of Girona. Invited professor at the University of Paris 8, Rouen, Nantes, University of the Aegean, and University Eduardo Mondlane. Member of several international scientific societies and author of a vast scientific work in the scope of transdisciplinary issues of an anthropological, hermeneutic, epistemological and pedagogical nature. Coordinator of the Observatory of Solitude at ISCET and vice-president of the Society for the Philosophy of Portuguese Language Education and member of the Scientific Committee of the Laboratory of Research on Practical Philosophy (L.R.P.Ph.) of the University of the Aegean.
